TW – waiting is just another excuse.
I would have never gotten to where I am today – mentally, emotionally, physically, or professionally – if I kept waiting for “one day”.
Putting something off and looking back with regret is a downward spiraling cycle.
But you know what? The cycle doesn’t have to repeat itself.
However, we are in control of the cycle repeats itself or not.
If we aren’t willing to take action to work toward our goals, we will never get there.
Wishing and working are two completely different things.
Wishing is sitting around and hoping your goals will fall into your lap.
Working is getting up and taking action knowing your goals will only be achieved if you actually do something about it.
You won’t always be motivated, but you are in control of being disciplined.
Hard work and dedication will move you forward. Waiting for the right time to do something will not.
We won’t always be ready. In fact, there is no such thing as the perfect time.
If we keep putting things off until we feel we are in the perfect place, at the perfect time, we are sacrificing what we want most for what feels easy.
Think about what’s holding you back and ask yourself if you are willing to sit in fear or are you willing take baby steps.
Baby steps still move you forward.
