November is here which means the holidays are right around the corner…
…but so is the thought of finding ways to fight seasonal depression.
For years I went into the holiday season full of dread, knowing, at some point, I was going to slip into a major funk that would be hard to pull myself out of.
There were several Thanksgivings, Christmases, and New Years where I isolated myself, totally stuck in my head and feeling alone while everyone around me was full of joy and happiness.
I often wondered “why can’t I have that too?” and “what is wrong with me?”.
I was afraid to let others in for fear of what they would think, but eventually I realized I had to find ways to help myself. I was mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausted, and knew if I didn’t take action, nothing would change.
That’s why this year I am building a community of women to come together to give love and support to beat seasonal depression. To find ways to be our best self and actually enjoy the holidays and the months to follow. To make a transformation we have been striving for year after year.
Together, we will set you up for a successful New Year by optimizing your lifestyle, focusing on personal growth, gaining body confidence, and developing health habits.
If you are interested in joining the community, comment below or send me a message so I can share more information!
In the meantime…
- Surround yourself with friends and family for support
- Indulge in your favorite hobbies and activities for comfort
- Focus on keeping your routine and making time for self-care
