Let’s kick off the new week focusing on wellness for National Wellness Month ???
Wellness is the state of being in good health, especially as an actively pursued goal. Health is so much more than just the physical. In order to create a life you love, you must develop healthy habits in all aspects of your day to day.
To me, wellness = wholesomeness physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Overcoming your biggest fears and anxieties around getting wholesomely healthy means pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone, getting uncomfortable, and believing in the process.
Taking care of yourself and putting your health and wellness first should always be your top priority. When you feel better, you attract better, and when you attract better, your feeling of self-worth intensifies leading you to a happier and healthier life.
When it comes to wellness, here are some things to focus on:
* Feel the feels; don’t hide your feelings. My go-to for this one is journaling when I feel stuck in my head and a little too deep in my thoughts.
* Make self-care a priority. Self-care looks different for everyone. Be mindful when indulging in self-care, though. When we feel stressed or anxious, we tend to make self-care decisions that are more impulsive and do more harm than good.
* Create healthy habits through goal-setting. The easiest way to set goals is by doing some deep-diving personal development and asking yourself questions that are hard to answer (more on this later this week).
Take your wellness into your hands this month and take action, and work on getting where you want to be. Always remember you are worth spending time on.
