Weight fluctuation ≠ body fat
Do you get it yet?
Weight fluctuation DOES NOT EQUAL body fat
For the longest time I would always associate the number on the scale with my worth, and every time the number on the scale went up automatically meant, in my mind, I gained *fat* and would spiral uncontrollably making myself miserable.
But here’s the thing…
Weight fluctuation ≠ body fat
There are countless reasons why the number you see on the scale today will be different than the number you see on the scale tomorrow.
The number might go up.
The number might go down.
The number might stay the same.
Regardless, weight fluctuation ≠ body fat.
The number on the scale is simply that- a *number*.
This number does not dictate who you are as a person.
This number does not dictate your worth as a person.
This number does not dictate your successes or failures as a person.
Progress is not linear, and the fastest way to kill your progress is to throw in the towel because of a damn number.
I’ve been there done that, and if I had a magic wand I would go back to the first instance and tell myself to get over it and KEEP GOING versus quitting, because quitting gets you *nowhere*.
Challenge yourself today- what would happen if you kept going?
The number on the scale is just a number. The moment you let it define you is the moment you need to take control and make a change.
A number is just a number.
But you? You’re so much more.
